General
What is cppjobs.dev?
cppjobs.dev is a job board dedicated exclusively to C++ jobs. Every post is a real, open role in which C++ is a substantial part of the work, and a person reviews it before it goes live.
Job seekers browse jobs and get email alerts for free. Posting a job is free for employers during our launch period. We are not a recruiter or an employment agency: applications go straight to the employer.
Does cppjobs.dev use cookies or track visitors?
No tracking cookies and no advertising. We count page views, Apply clicks and the steps of subscribing or posting a job with a self-hosted Umami instance on our own server: it sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites, and does not keep your IP address in its statistics.
The privacy policy explains what we store when you post a job, subscribe to job alerts or browse the site.
How do I contact cppjobs.dev?
Use the Contact link at the bottom of every page to send us a message, or email support@cppjobs.dev. Both reach the same inbox, for questions about job posts and job alerts. To flag a post that looks expired, misleading or like a scam, use Report this listing on the job page.
For job seekers
Is cppjobs.dev free for job seekers?
Yes. Browsing C++ jobs and receiving job alerts on cppjobs.dev is free, and you do not need an account. Posting a job is free for employers too during our launch period.
How do I apply for a C++ job on cppjobs.dev?
Open the job and press Apply. It takes you to the employer's application page or starts an email to the address the employer gave. Applications go straight to the employer, so cppjobs.dev never sees your CV.
Never pay an employer in order to apply. If a post looks suspicious, tell us at support@cppjobs.dev.
Are all the jobs on cppjobs.dev really C++ jobs?
Yes. A person reviews every post before it is published, and we only accept real, currently open positions in which C++ is a substantial part of the work.
We decline posts that do not belong on a C++ job board, as well as posts that ask candidates to pay or look misleading.
Are there remote C++ jobs on cppjobs.dev?
Yes. Every post on cppjobs.dev states its work type: fully remote (work from anywhere in the world), geo remote (remote within a country or region), partially remote (hybrid), or on site.
Use the work type filter on the job list to see only the remote C++ jobs, or subscribe to job alerts for remote roles.
How do I search and filter C++ jobs?
Search the job list on the home page by company name or job title, and filter it by location, work type, contract type and minimum salary.
Location matches cities, countries and regions. Contract types are full-time, part-time, contractor, temporary, internship. The minimum salary filter goes up to 250,000 a year; at zero it also shows jobs without a salary.
Do C++ job posts on cppjobs.dev show the salary?
When the employer gives a salary range, cppjobs.dev shows it on the job page as a yearly range in US dollars or euros. Stating a salary is optional for employers.
To see only jobs that state a salary, set the minimum salary filter above zero.
How do C++ job alerts work?
Subscribe with your email, choose daily, weekly or monthly, and cppjobs.dev emails you the new C++ jobs that match your preferences. Right after you subscribe, we send an email with a confirmation link; alerts start once you click it.
You can narrow alerts by work type, country or region, contract type and minimum salary. Fully remote jobs always match, whatever countries you choose. Alerts go out at 08:00 UTC (weekly ones on Mondays, monthly ones on the 1st), list the 10 newest matching jobs and how many more are on the site, and are only sent when there is something new.
How do I unsubscribe or change my job alerts?
Every job alert email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click.
To change your preferences, subscribe again with the same email address and click the link in the confirmation email. Your new choices replace the old ones.

Highlight is an optional extra that makes a post stand out. It tints the job card and edges it in a colour, ours or one you pick (your brand colour, say), for as long as the post is published, and it is free during the launch period.
What kind of jobs can I post on cppjobs.dev?
Real, currently open positions in which C++ is a substantial part of the work, one position per post, with accurate details and a working application link or email address.
Posts must not ask candidates to pay, discriminate unlawfully or advertise multi-level marketing. The terms and conditions list every rule.
What happens if my job post is rejected?
We email you the reason. If you think it is a mistake, or you would like to fix the post, reply to that email within 7 days and we will sort it out; after that, a declined post is deleted.
Posts that are spam, fraudulent or break the terms and conditions are declined.
Can I edit my job post after it is published?
Yes, through us: email support@cppjobs.dev from the contact email used for the post. Reasonable corrections are free, and we email you once the corrected post is live. A change that turns the post into a different job needs a new post.
