Why I built it
Hi, I'm Aleksandar. I have written C++ for a living since 2018: event recording and signal routing for cars, traffic sign recognition, software for pharmaceutical lab devices, and now a securities lending platform. I started with C++11, and I still look forward to every new standard. I care about clean code, I bring functional programming ideas into everyday C++, and in my free time I maintain recipes on conan-center-index.
Every time I looked for a new job, I had the same problem. C++ roles were spread across general job boards, buried under "C/C++/C#" listings, recruiter reposts and jobs where C++ was one keyword in a long list. Finding the real ones took hours.
C++ runs cars, trading systems, games, browsers, compilers and medical devices, and the people who write it deserve a place of their own. cppjobs.dev is the board I wanted back then: only C++ jobs, each one checked by a person, with a direct way to apply. For companies, it is a simple way to reach developers who actually care about C++. I build and run it myself, and I read every message.
What makes cppjobs.dev different
Only C++
Every listing is a role where C++ is a substantial part of the work. No keyword stuffing.
A person reviews every post
Usually within 24 hours, before it goes live.
Listings that stay up
A job stays online for at least 60 days from the day we approve it.
Straight to the employer
We are not a recruiter. Applications go directly to the company.
Free during launch
Employers post for free during our launch period.
