Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use cppjobs.dev (the "site"). Please read them before you post a job or subscribe to job alerts.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. About us and these terms

cppjobs.dev is operated by Aleksandar Preočanin, an individual based in the Republic of Serbia ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@cppjobs.dev.

By using the site, posting a job or subscribing to job alerts, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you post a job for a company, "you" also means that company.

2. The service

cppjobs.dev is a job board for roles that involve C++. Employers publish job posts, which is free during our launch period. Job seekers browse them and subscribe to email alerts for free.

We are not an employer, a recruiter or an employment agency. We take no part in any hiring process and are not a party to any agreement between an employer and a candidate. Applications go straight to the employer, through the link or email address in the post.

We do not promise that a post will receive a certain number of views or applications, that a role will be filled, or that a job seeker will find a job.

3. Who can post a job

Job posts are a service for businesses. To post a job you must be at least 18 years old, act in the course of a business, and have the authority to act for the company named in the post.

There are no user accounts. We use the contact email you enter with the post to send the confirmation, to tell you about our review, and to tell you when the post is corrected, taken down or reaches the end of its listing, so make sure it is correct and that someone reads it.

4. What you may post

Every job post must:

  • advertise a real, currently open position in which C++ is a substantial part of the work;
  • cover one position, or several identical openings for the same position;
  • be accurate, including the company name, job title, location, work arrangement, contract type and any salary range;
  • give a working link or email address that leads to the real application for that position;
  • comply with the laws that apply to you and to the position, including employment, equal treatment and advertising laws.

A job post must not:

  • discriminate unlawfully against any group of people;
  • ask candidates to pay money or hand over payment details in order to apply;
  • advertise multi-level marketing, or any scheme that is misleading or fraudulent or is not a genuine job;
  • contain malicious or deceptive links;
  • include personal details of other people without their permission;
  • infringe anyone's rights. The text and the logo must be yours, or you must have permission to use them.

5. Review and publication

When you submit a post, we email a confirmation link to the contact email. We review a post only after the link is used; a post that is not confirmed within 7 days is deleted. A person reviews every confirmed post before it is published. This usually happens within 24 hours, but we do not guarantee a review time.

We may decline to publish a post, and may remove a published post, if in our reasonable opinion it breaks these terms or does not belong on a C++ job board. We tell you by email and normally give the reason.

You cannot edit a post yourself. To correct a post or have it taken down, write to us from the contact email used for the post. Reasonable corrections are free. A change that turns the post into a different job requires a new post.

6. How long a post stays up

A published post stays on the site for at least 60 days from the day we approve it. We may keep it up for longer at no extra cost, and we may remove or archive it at any time after the 60 days.

The highlight option applies for as long as the post is published.

When the position is filled or withdrawn, please ask us to take the post down so that job seekers are not misled. You can ask us to remove your post at any time.

7. Prices

Posting a job is free during our launch period. You are never charged for a post you submit while posting is free, now or later.

We plan to charge for posts in the future. Before paid posting starts we will announce it on the site and publish the prices on the post-a-job page. Posts submitted after that are subject to the prices and the payment terms published at that time.

8. Your content

You keep all rights in the text and logo you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and promote the post and the logo on the site, in job alert emails, in link previews and on our social media channels, for as long as the post is published.

After a post is removed, copies may remain in emails already sent, in our backups for up to 7 days, in our records for the retention periods in our Privacy Policy, and on search engines or other sites we do not control.

9. Job seekers

Browsing jobs is free. We review posts before publishing them, but we cannot verify every statement an employer makes, and we do not vouch for any employer or position. Make your own checks before you apply or accept an offer.

Never pay an employer in order to apply. If a post looks suspicious or misleading, please tell us at support@cppjobs.dev.

10. Job alerts

Job alerts are free. We email you new posts that match the preferences you chose, as often as you chose. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click.

When you subscribe, we send an email with a confirmation link. Alerts start only after you click it, and the link works for 7 days. If you do not confirm, we delete the request and never email that address again because of it.

To change your preferences, subscribe again with the same email address. Your current alerts keep their preferences until you click the link in the new confirmation email.

11. Acceptable use

When you use the site you must not:

  • copy job posts in bulk, or republish them elsewhere, without our written permission;
  • collect contact details from the site in order to send unsolicited messages;
  • get around rate limits or other technical protections;
  • disrupt the site, overload it, or try to gain access you have not been given;
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

12. Intellectual property

The name cppjobs.dev, the design of the site and its software belong to us. Company names, logos and job descriptions belong to the companies that posted them.

13. Other sites and services

Job posts link to employers' own sites and email addresses. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or how they treat you.

14. No warranties

We provide the site "as is" and "as available". We try to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

15. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity;
  • our total liability for all claims connected with a job post will not exceed the amount you paid us for that post or €100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

16. Claims caused by your post

If someone brings a claim against us because of the content of your post, or because you broke these terms, you will cover the reasonable costs and damages we incur as a result.

17. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date shown at the top of this page, and using the site after that date means you accept it. For a job post you have already submitted, the version in force on the day you submitted it continues to apply.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. If we cannot settle a dispute with you by email first, it will be decided by the competent courts in the Republic of Serbia.

If you use the site as a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a case there.

20. General

If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term, we can still enforce it later. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to a successor that takes over the site.
